Who We Are
Kakande & Company (KAC) was incorporated on 16 August 2006 as an accounting services company. The firm started as a sole proprietorship by Mr. Adam Kakande. KAC became a partnership firm in July 2013 when Mwesigwa Moses Kamanyire joined the firm as a Partner. The firm is located on Plot 2D, Nakasero Hill Road in the Kampala Central Business District where it has stayed since inception.
Professional accreditation:
*KAC is licensed and regulated by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) since 2008.
*KAC is approved by Uganda Revenue Authority to act as a tax agent.
Practical Experience:
Moses and Adam have over twenty five (25) years’ practical experience;
*Internal Auditors of Civil Society Organizations in Western and Eastern Uganda as sub recipients of Global Fund disbursements (Round 7)
*Internal Auditors - Implementation of Global Fund Round 10 Malaria and Health System Strengthening

Audit and Assurance
We provide audit and assurance services (AAS) to individuals and companies to meet their need of complying with statutory and regulatory requirements
Our AAS staff include senior auditors with qualifications from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of United Kingdom (ACCA)
Tax
We provide tax compliance and advisory services (TAS) to individuals, families and organizations to meet their need of complying with legal, regulatory and local requirements.
Our TAS team include tax consultants with qualifications from ICPAU. Our core tax team are authorized tax agents by Uganda Revenue Authority.
Accounts and outsourcing
We provide accounting and finance services (AFS) to individuals, families and companies to meet their accounting and financial reporting requirements in order to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
Our AFS staff include senior accountants, book keepers and data entry clerks with qualifications from recognized Universities plus Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of United Kingdom
Advisory
We provide management consulting services MCS to individuals and companies to support them meet their business requirements in order to meet their goals
KAC maintains a list of external associates that comprise our MCS team. Our MCS staff includes project manager, consultants, researchers and financial analysts with qualifications and training from International Trade Centre – the technical cooperation agency of UNCTAD/WTO
Company Secretarial Services
We provide company secretarial services CSS to individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies to meet there need of compiling with legal and regulatory requirements
KAC maintains a list of external associates that comprise our CSS team. Our CSS staff includes a corporate secretary, a lawyer and an assistant. We are also registered by Uganda Registration Services Bureau to offer Insolvency services
